Your Cohabit Expert profile allows you to receive Insight Report requests for buildings from owners/buyers and gives you access to all files for the building to help you write insights for them.
The Cohabit Expert portal also connects you with Buyers/Owners via a messaging system to allow for easy discussion of the Insight Report.
In this guide, we will be covering how to set up your Cohabit Expert account, add team members and connect to any past buildings you have written reports for.
Step 1 - Sign up Link
Click the link below to begin your sign up to Cohabit Expert:
Step 2 - Enter Your Invite Code
After clicking the sign up link you will be asked to enter your invite code.
If you have been added to a team by an admin and received an invite code via email you may enter it here. This will then skip the rest of the sign up steps and take you straight into your Cohabit Expert account.
If you have not received an invite code simply press "I don't have an invite code", and you will directed to create your profile.
Step 3 - Create Profile
From here you will asked to create your profile by providing personal and company information.
Step 4 - Verify Your Email
After inputting your personal information you will be asked to verify your email.
If you do not receive the email within 1-2 minutes you can can press "send email again".
If you are still encountering issues with not receiving a verification email you can then press "sign up with a different email".
Step 5 - Enter Company Info
You will then be asked to input your Company information.
This includes company name, ABN, company address and Website.
Step 6 - Add Team Members
After inputing company information you will be directed to add any team members to create and publish reports under your company brand.
From here you can add in team members email addresses and assign them as either an "Expert Admin" or an "Expert"
You can add any number of team member at this time or you can press "skip for now." and do it once you have finished signing up.
Step 7 - Claim Your Buildings
The last step of the Expert Portal sign up process is being able to claim your buildings on Cohabit that you have previously written reports for.
By entering in an address in the search bar and uploading a previous report alongside it, you will automatically be connected to that building and listed as the last known expert for that building.
You will be able to do this for as many buildings as you wish during the sign up process and when you are ready to finish your sign up, simply press "continue".
You can also choose to select "I'll do this later" and continue with finalising your sign up.
