Who this article is for
Lot owners and committee members
Owners who want ongoing visibility into their building
Anyone wanting to understand how Cohabit keeps building information up to date
What Building Intelligence is
Cohabit Building Intelligence keeps your building’s information current over time.
Instead of a one-off snapshot, it provides regular updates so you can see how your building is tracking as new information becomes available.
Cohabit reviews authorised strata records and, where available, other reliable, independent building data sources to update:
Building data and key sections
The Building Health Score
Insights about how the building is performing
Think of it as a recurring “check-in” on your building.
What Building Intelligence includes
While the exact view varies by building, Building Intelligence generally focuses on three things:
1. Updated building data
As new records become available (such as minutes, financials, insurance, compliance, or works reports), Cohabit reviews and reflects them in your Building Profile and Building Snapshot.
Over time, this shows how the building is changing — not just what was true once.
2. A refreshed Building Health Score
The Building Health Score is recalculated using the most recent information available.
This helps you see whether the building’s overall health appears to be:
Holding steady
Improving
Showing signs of increased risk
3. Updated insights and flags
Where supported by the available data, Building Intelligence may surface insight-style updates that highlight meaningful changes, such as:
Financial pressure or funding trends
New or ongoing works
Repeated issues raised in meetings
Changes in compliance or insurance
The goal is to help you quickly understand:
“What’s changed since the last update?”

A common pattern:
Buyers start with Expert Insights
Owners rely on Building Intelligence for ongoing visibility
How owners use Building Intelligence
You don’t need to take action each update — just know where to look.
Owners often use it to:
Review the Building Snapshot after updates
Track renewals and compliance
Prepare for AGMs or committee meetings
Monitor risks and priorities over time
Is Building Intelligence required?
No. Building Intelligence is optional.
You can still view your Building Profile, Snapshot, and existing Expert Insights without it — you’ll just be relying on more point-in-time information.
FAQs (condensed)
How often is my building updated?
Building Intelligence runs on regular review cycles, typically every few months, depending on record availability.
Does this replace our strata manager?
No. It provides visibility based on records — it doesn’t run the scheme.
Can other owners see the same updates?
Yes. It’s a building-level view for connected owners, subject to access rules.
