What this page is
When you click an item in your Feed, you’re taken to the Activity details page.
Here you can:
See full details about the activity or request
Check the current status (e.g. Pending, Approved, Completed)
Add comments or questions that stay linked to that activity

Step 1 – Open the activity from your Feed
Log in to Cohabit.
Click Feed in the left-hand menu.
Find the activity you want to discuss (e.g. Key Activity, General Activity, By-Law Activity).
Click on the activity row/card.
You’ll be taken to the Activity page for that specific item.
Step 2 – Review the activity details
On the Activity page you’ll typically see:
A header image and the activity title (e.g. Key Activity).
The building address.
Dates and times for the activity.
The request reason or description (e.g. key request, general request, by-law request).
Any extra information such as:
Lot number
Requested keys or items
The status badge (e.g. Approved, Pending, Completed) shown on the right-hand side.

Make sure the details match the activity you want to comment on.
Step 3 – Add a comment
On the right-hand side of the page, you’ll see the Comments panel.
Click into the “Your message” box.
Type your comment or question. For example:
“Can you confirm where I collect the keys?”
“Is access available outside business hours?”
“Has this work been rescheduled?”
Click Send.

Your comment will be added to the activity and visible to the relevant parties (such as your strata manager or committee, depending on the activity type).
Step 4 – See replies and ongoing discussion
When people respond to your comment:
Their replies will appear in the Comments section under the same activity.
You may also receive notifications in Cohabit (and on mobile, if enabled) when new comments are added.
You can continue the conversation by:
Returning to Feed.
Clicking the same activity again.
Adding further comments in the same Comments box.
This keeps the whole conversation attached to that specific activity, instead of being scattered across emails.
Tips for good comments
Be specific – mention dates, lot numbers, or which part of the building you’re referring to.
Keep one activity per thread – don’t mix unrelated issues in the same comment chain.
Use polite, clear language – comments may be seen by strata managers, committee members and other authorised parties.
FAQs
Q: Who can see my comments?
Comments are visible to the relevant parties linked to that activity (for example, your strata manager, committee, or Cohabit support), not to all owners by default.
Q: Can I edit or delete a comment after sending it?
This depends on how comment permissions are configured in Cohabit. If you send something in error, you can always follow up with a correcting comment or contact Cohabit Support via the chat bubble.
Q: Can I comment on past activities?
In most cases you can still open an item in Past Activities and add a comment, but response times may vary depending on how current or relevant the activity is.
