Who this article is for
Owners who have connected an apartment in Cohabit
Owners who want to update their apartment’s details
Owners managing multiple apartments across buildings
You’ll need to have connected an apartment before you can manage its details.
What “apartment details” means in Cohabit
Apartment details are the only pieces of information owners can personally edit in Cohabit.
These details relate to your specific apartment (lot) — not the building as a whole.
They help Cohabit:
Show building information in the right ownership context
Personalise notifications and communications
Support future features (such as payments and owner services)
They do not change building records, Health Scores, or Expert Insights.
Where apartment details live
When you click on an apartment card, Cohabit opens the Building Profile for that building.
Inside the Building Profile, owners see an additional tab called My Apartments.
This tab is:
Only visible to owners
Where all apartment-level details are managed
Opening your apartment details
Go to Apartments
Click an apartment card
In the Building Profile, open the My Apartments tab
You’ll see the apartment(s) you’re connected to in that building.
What you can update in My Apartments
From the My Apartments tab, you can view and edit details for your apartment, including:
Apartment basics
Apartment number
Occupancy status (owner-occupied or rented)
Tenancy information (if applicable)
Tenant name and contact details
Lease start and end dates
Property management details
Managing agency
Property manager contact details
Communication preferences
How you receive levy notices
How you receive building-related communications
These settings apply only to your apartment.
Editing apartment details
To make changes:
Open the My Apartments tab
Select the apartment you want to update
Click the Edit icon
Update the relevant fields and save
Changes take effect immediately.
How this relates to building information
While you’re in the Building Profile, you’ll also see building-level tabs such as:
Overview
Building Snapshot
Expert Insights (where available)
These tabs always show building-wide information:
Health Scores apply to the entire building
Expert Insights are written for the building
Financials, compliance and works are building-level
Apartment details simply tell Cohabit which lot you own — they don’t alter the building data itself.
Managing multiple apartments
If you own more than one apartment:
Each apartment appears separately under My Apartments
You can switch between apartments within the same building profile
All apartments share the same building-level data
What you can’t change here
From My Apartments, owners cannot:
Edit building records
Change Health Scores
Modify Expert Insights
If something at building level looks incorrect, see:
👉 How do I provide information about my building?
