What My Wallet is
My Wallet is where you securely store and manage the payment methods used to pay levies in Cohabit.
Payment methods added to My Wallet can be:
Reused across multiple apartments
Used for regular and special levies
Selected during checkout when paying a levy
You don’t need to re-enter payment details each time you pay.
Payment methods supported
Cohabit currently supports:
Credit and debit cards
PayID
Availability may vary slightly depending on your building and payment setup.
How to add a payment method
You can add a payment method in two ways.
Option 1 — Add a payment method from My Wallet
This is the best option if you want to set things up in advance.
Steps
Log in to Cohabit.
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Select My Wallet.
Click Add payment method.
Choose your payment type (card or PayID).
Enter the required details and save.
Once added, the payment method will be available immediately for levy payments.
Option 2 — Add a payment method while paying a levy
You can also add a payment method during checkout.
Steps
Go to Payments.
Select an apartment.
Open an upcoming levy and click Pay now.
On the payment method screen, select Add new payment method.
Enter your details and continue with payment.
The payment method is:
Saved to My Wallet, and
Used immediately for that levy.
Choosing and changing payment methods
When paying a levy, you can:
Select any saved payment method
Switch between methods before confirming payment
Add a new method if needed
If you have multiple methods saved, you can choose the one that best suits each payment.
Managing payment methods
From My Wallet, you can:
View all saved payment methods
Remove payment methods you no longer use
Update your default payment method (where supported)
Changes apply immediately and affect future payments only.
PayID payments
If you choose PayID:
Cohabit provides a unique PayID reference
You’ll complete the payment from your banking app
Payments may take longer to appear as Paid (depending on your bank)
Once the payment clears, the levy will automatically move to Past payments.
If something doesn’t work as expected
If you experience issues such as:
A payment method not saving
A payment failing
A levy not updating after payment
You should:
Double-check the payment details you entered
Allow some time for processing (especially for PayID)
Contact Cohabit Support if the issue persists
Cohabit Support can:
Confirm whether a payment was received
Help troubleshoot payment method issues
