  • Lot owners paying levies through Cohabit

  • Owners setting up payments for the first time

  • Anyone who wants to update or manage payment methods

What My Wallet is

My Wallet is where you securely store and manage the payment methods used to pay levies in Cohabit.

Payment methods added to My Wallet can be:

  • Reused across multiple apartments

  • Used for regular and special levies

  • Selected during checkout when paying a levy

You don’t need to re-enter payment details each time you pay.

Payment methods supported

Cohabit currently supports:

  • Credit and debit cards

  • PayID

Availability may vary slightly depending on your building and payment setup.

How to add a payment method

You can add a payment method in two ways.

Option 1 — Add a payment method from My Wallet

This is the best option if you want to set things up in advance.

Steps

  1. Log in to Cohabit.

  2. Click your name in the top-right corner.

  3. Select My Wallet.

  4. Click Add payment method.

  5. Choose your payment type (card or PayID).

  6. Enter the required details and save.

Once added, the payment method will be available immediately for levy payments.

Option 2 — Add a payment method while paying a levy

You can also add a payment method during checkout.

Steps

  1. Go to Payments.

  2. Select an apartment.

  3. Open an upcoming levy and click Pay now.

  4. On the payment method screen, select Add new payment method.

  5. Enter your details and continue with payment.

The payment method is:

  • Saved to My Wallet, and

  • Used immediately for that levy.

Choosing and changing payment methods

When paying a levy, you can:

  • Select any saved payment method

  • Switch between methods before confirming payment

  • Add a new method if needed

If you have multiple methods saved, you can choose the one that best suits each payment.

Managing payment methods

From My Wallet, you can:

  • View all saved payment methods

  • Remove payment methods you no longer use

  • Update your default payment method (where supported)

Changes apply immediately and affect future payments only.

PayID payments

If you choose PayID:

  • Cohabit provides a unique PayID reference

  • You’ll complete the payment from your banking app

  • Payments may take longer to appear as Paid (depending on your bank)

Once the payment clears, the levy will automatically move to Past payments.

If something doesn’t work as expected

If you experience issues such as:

  • A payment method not saving

  • A payment failing

  • A levy not updating after payment

You should:

  1. Double-check the payment details you entered

  2. Allow some time for processing (especially for PayID)

  3. Contact Cohabit Support if the issue persists

Cohabit Support can:

  • Confirm whether a payment was received

  • Help troubleshoot payment method issues

  • Guide you on next steps
