Anyone setting up levy payments in Cohabit
Supported payment methods
• Credit/Debit Cards
Visa, Mastercard, AMEX
Used for automatic or manual levy payments.
• PayID
Saved in the same way as cards.
Payments are initiated directly inside Cohabit — you do not need to open your banking app.
Where to add or manage payment methods
You’ll manage your methods from the Payment Methods page.
On Desktop
Click your profile name in the top-right.
Select Payment Methods.

On Mobile (App)
Tap your profile icon.
Tap Payment Methods.

This opens the Payment Methods page, where you can add, delete or update methods.
How to Add a New Payment Method
Step 1 — Open your Payment Methods
Open Profile → Payment Methods.
You’ll see:
Your saved cards/PayID (if any)
A button: + Add Payment Method

Step 2 — Choose a payment method type
Click + Add payment method.
You will see:
Credit/Debit Card
PayID

Step 3 — Enter your details
⭐ If adding a Credit/Debit Card
Enter:
Cardholder name
Card number
Expiry
CVV
Accept Terms & Conditions

Click Save.
⭐ If adding a PayID
Enter:
PayID name
PayID value (email, mobile, or registered PayID)
Accept Terms & Conditions

Click Save.
Step 4 — Success
After saving, you’ll return to the Payment Methods page.
You will now see:
Your card / PayID listed
Options to delete, and
Your new method will become available for levy payments

Managing existing payment methods
To remove a method
Go to Payment Methods
Click Delete next to the method
Confirm
If the method is linked to an active levy setup, Cohabit will ask you to add a replacement.
To edit a method
Card details can be updated during levy setup or by removing and re-adding the card.
PayID can be updated the same way.

Can I store more than one payment method?
Yes — you can store multiple cards or PayIDs.
Can I choose which method pays which levy?
Yes — you select your payment method during levy setup.
Is PayID automatic?
Yes — it works the same as a saved card in Cohabit.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes — everything is stored using a secure, PCI-compliant vault.
