Anyone who wants to customise how they receive Cohabit notifications.


Notification options on mobile

Mobile users can receive:

  • Lot connection request approvals

  • Building data updates

  • New documents or changes

  • Expert Report activation

  • Messages from Experts

You can turn these on or off in:
Profile → Notification Settings


Notification options on desktop

Desktop users may receive:

  • Email notifications

  • Bell icon alerts (top-right of screen)

Bell icon alerts include:

  • Recent building updates

  • Connection request status

  • Document uploads

  • Expert Report activity


How to change notification settings

Step 1 — Open Profile Settings

On desktop or mobile.

Step 2 — Select “Notification Settings”

Step 3 — Toggle notifications on or off

Changes save automatically.

Can I turn off all notifications?

Some essential account/security alerts cannot be disabled.

Do mobile and desktop notifications differ?

Yes — mobile can receive push notifications; desktop uses email and bell alerts.
