Step 5 – Choose what best describes you

You’ll now be asked what best describes you. For a buyer profile, you can choose:

  • Buyer

  • Buyer’s agent

  • Conveyancer

Pick the option that best matches how you’re using Cohabit for this profile.

This helps us tailor the experience and gives experts/strata managers the right context.

On the final screen, you’ll see a short summary of what you can do with a Cohabit buyer profile, such as:

  • Search for buildings

  • Request a Building Health Score

FAQs

Q: Do I have to enter both email and phone codes?
Yes. We use email and phone verification to keep your account secure and help prevent incorrect or unauthorised sign-ups.

Q: Can I change my “what best describes you” choice later?
If you chose the wrong option (e.g. Buyer instead of Buyer’s agent), you can change it in your account settings later or contact support via the in-app chat and we can help update it.

Q: Can I use Cohabit on Android?
Yes. The Cohabit app is currently unsupported on Android, but you can use Cohabit in a mobile browser (like Chrome or Firefox) on your Android phone.
